XT Coat (Exterior Coating)

Thermilate XT Coat for exterior use is a water-based acrylic, not only very hard wearing but also containing revolutionary energy-saving NanoCNB technology. Thermilate XT Coat is used to protect buildings exposed to extreme weather conditions, ensuring unrivalled durability and long lasting protection. Thermilate XT Coat is widely used in both hot and cold climates.

Thermilate XT Coat is an easy to apply coating for most types of structures, to significantly reduce extreme weather damage and reduce heat transfer on the surfaces from sunlight in hot climates and heat loss in cold climates. This allows vast savings to be swiftly made on maintenance costs and energy bills.

Using the latest NanoCNB micro-sphere technology, domestic, commercial and industrial buildings around the globe are benefitting from Thermilate XT Coat protection. Thermilate XT Coat is used on exterior walls and roofs, protecting the surfaces that are exposed to the extreme weather conditions for long periods of time. It is a completely safe, non-toxic and environmentally friendly coating that is a fast and affordable and way to insulate and protect buildings that would be difficult to shield with conventional methods.

Some of the Surfaces that Thermilate XT Coat can be applied to include:

•    smooth masonry
•    sprayed PU foam
•    galvanised steel and aluminium sheeting
•    plaster and smooth stucco
•    fibre-cement, precast and in-situ concrete
•    previously painted surfaces
•    fibreglass and plastic water tanks
•    Bituminous sheeting and coatings.

How Thermilate XT Coat Works?

Thermilate XT Coat contains NanoCNB technology.  These micro-spheres act as a highly efficient thermal barrier that reflect, refract and dissipates the heat.  This will keep the heat in a building when the weather outside is cold, and keep the heat out when the weather is hot. The thermal barrier is created as the micro-spheres retract as the coating dries.

Additionally the coating will protect the building’s surface from the extreme weather damage (e.g. driving rain, snow and intense temperatures) by forming a breathable, weather resistant surface.
